This is a beautiful one of a kind hand painted piece of art. Probably dates from around the turn of the 20th century it’s in amazing condition for its age. No rips or tears the colours are still very vibrant.
Obviously it’s a Tiger, however it’s not just any Tiger it’s a Formosan Tiger. Throughout the history of Taiwan, whether the story of its economy or the various folk traditions found throughout the island, the Formosan Tiger is everywhere in the culture of the Taiwanese!
